Our breeding philosophy is to focus on the female. It takes an exceptional cow to produce replacement quality breeding animals. Our cows are expected to perform: calve and mother without assistance, breed back in a timely manner, and wean a good calf. The registered Hereford cattle for sale are managed the same as the commercial cows; we don’t single trait select, nor do we select for extremes, we select for traits that will complement one another.
